The criteria
Criterion 1 is mandatory – plus at least one of the others. On top: headquarters or a substantial presence in the DACH region.
The core of the company is technology – not business-model innovation alone. That's the baseline requirement.
Funding from a serious deep-tech investor counts as an external quality signal.
EXIST, SPRIND, EIC Accelerator, ESA BIC or comparable competitive programmes.
Fraunhofer, Max Planck, Helmholtz, DLR, universities – science as the company's foundation.
Demonstrable IP rights or research the product builds on.
After you apply we review (AI pre-check + manual decision). Listed startups later get access to membership: direct job feed, profile control, badge.
